Fair Trade goods

The Department of the Taoiseach has asked that attention be brought to the following commitment in the Programme for Government 2007-2012 which seeks to ensure that the sourcing of Fair Trade goods where possible is part of all Government Departments' purchasing policy. Those public bodies who wish to source fair trade and other similar products should ensure that the purchase of such products is in line with European Union legislation and guidelines.
