Corporate Procurement Plan Training
The NPPPU is currently considering organising up to four one day training programmes by the end of June 2008 to assist public sector organisations in developing their corporate procurement plan. The development and implementation of this plan can assist in improving the value for money outcomes, including savings and efficiency outcomes associated with procurement activities in public sector organisations. The development of such a plan is also a mandatory requirement. However before any training programme is put in place it is necessary to determine whether there is interest from sufficient public sector participants in such training. Once the level of interest has been determined it will then be possible to plan dates and locations for training events. In order to help determine the extent of demand for such training, could those interested make this known by e-mail to Ms Joanne Murphy at: joanne.murphy@finance.gov.ie
